Joe & Chantel's Wedding

On the 8th of October 2011, I captured the special day of Joe Bennett & Chantel Douman. The weather was perfect, the decor was amazing and these two just make such a wonderful couple. Congratulations you two!

Mothers Breakfast

I was asked to document a Breakfast hosted by Sugar & Spice Promotions where the guest speaker was Andalene Salvesen who is a Personal Parenting coach to Mums (She is basically the South African version of Nanny McPhee - Only better). The business is called Monsters to Munchkins. Her methods are so interesting and just logical. I even bought my sister-in-law her book because I was just so impressed with her..

What a weekend!

What a great weekend. Celebrated a very special Birthday on Friday night, my Mom’s!
We arranged for Jacki, from Cupcake Love, to make us a Birthday cake. And did she ever?

My First of the First

My First post ever on my first blog ever! Intimidating to say the least! J

But I am really here to display my passion, my form of expression, and my thoughts.

My Photographic business is not only a business but a hobby and passion. There is something therapeutic about putting your thoughts down onto paper, computer, film or even on a Compact Flash card. In my case, not in a verbal way but visual. This is a lot more difficult to accomplish than to write a letter. To get your thoughts arranged and interpreted visually or ‘made real’ is quite challenging and I can honestly tell you that everyday I learn something new in my field.

I like to think of my style as very ‘in the moment’. I think of all my sitters as two year olds, you cant really tell a two year what to do, you just have to wait it out, the right shot is there.. you just have to find it.

There are incredible talents in the Photographic field in Port Elizabeth. This is my third year in the Industry and I really feel so lucky to have come this far. I do hope that there will be many more successful years to come.

So, if you are looking for a Photographer, I’m your girl.
